Graphic Design in Stoke-on-Trent That Works in the Real World

Brochures, catalogues, leaflets, signage and adverts designed by a studio that grew up in the print trade. We design things that look right on screen and still look right when they’re printed, folded, fitted and handed out.

GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDIO STAFFORDSHIRE

Design that has to survive more than a screen

Most graphic design in Stoke-on-Trent gets judged on a laptop. Ours gets judged on a site board in the rain, on a price list that’s been folded into a back pocket, on a catalogue that sits on a buyer’s desk for a year. That’s because our studio has its roots in the print trade, and we’ve never lost the habit of asking one simple question: will this actually work when it’s made?

It’s where a lot of design falls down. Body text too small to read once it’s printed. A brochure set in colours that print muddy. A banner that looks fine on a monitor and falls apart at two metres wide. We’ve seen all of it, and we design to avoid it from the first sketch.

We look after more than 200 businesses, mostly trades, construction, industrial and professional firms across Staffordshire and Cheshire, and most of our new work comes through recommendation. People come back because the design works and we’re easy to get hold of.

WHAT WE DESIGN

Graphic design services

Everything your business hands out, puts up or sends out, designed by one studio so it all looks like it belongs together.

OUR PRINT-TRADE ROOTS

Why print experience makes better graphic design

Before we were building websites, we were preparing artwork for print. That background shapes everything we design today. We know what bleed is and why it matters. We know a colour that glows on screen can come out flat on uncoated stock. We know a van is a curved, moving, three-dimensional surface, not a rectangle.

So when we design something for you, we’re thinking about where it’s going to end up and who’s going to pick it up. The result is a set of files your printer, sign maker and web developer can all use without coming back with questions.

  • Print-ready PDFs with correct bleed, crop marks and colour set-up
  • Text sizes and contrast checked for how the piece will actually be read
  • Vector artwork for signage, vinyl cutting and large format
  • Proofs before anything is printed, so there are no surprises
  • Print brokered through trusted UK trade printers

HOW IT WORKS

How a design project runs with us

WHO IT SUITS

Is our graphic design studio a good fit for you?

We’re not a big agency and we don’t try to be one. We’re a practical design studio for businesses that need their print and marketing to do a job: win work, explain what you do and make it easy for customers to get in touch. If any of these sound familiar, we should talk.

  • You need a brochure or catalogue your sales team will actually hand out
  • Your leaflets, price lists and website all look slightly different from each other
  • You’ve got an exhibition, open day or launch coming up and need everything designed to match
  • You make your own artwork in Canva but want it to look properly professional
  • You need data sheets or documents that make a technical product easy to understand
  • You want one studio that handles design, print and web, so nothing gets lost between suppliers

STARTING FROM SCRATCH?

Need the brand before the brochure?

Good graphic design is easier when there’s a clear brand to build on. If you’re working from a blurry logo or a different look on every piece, it can be worth sorting the brand first, so everything we design from then on hangs together.

We do that too. Have a look at our branding service for logos, brand identities and vehicle livery, or just ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether you need it.

QUESTIONS

Graphic design questions we get asked

It depends on what you need. A single leaflet is a very different job to a 40 page catalogue. We’ll always talk through the brief first and give you a clear fixed quote before any work starts. Brochure design starts from £60 a page.
Branding is deciding how your business looks and sounds: the logo, colours, fonts and the rules for using them. Graphic design is putting that brand to work on the things you actually use, like brochures, leaflets, signs and adverts. We do both, and they work best together.
Yes. We broker print through trusted UK trade printers and check every file before it goes to press. You deal with one studio from design to delivery.
Yes. If you’ve started something in Canva, Word or with an AI tool, we can tidy it up and make it print-ready rather than starting again. Our artwork fix service is set up exactly for that.
You’ll get print-ready PDFs for your printer, editable files where it makes sense, and web-ready versions for your website and social media. We’ll explain which file is for what in plain English.
