Artwork terms

1.1 By uploading artwork you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it for the printed items you have ordered.

1.2 This applies to artwork made in whole or in part with artificial intelligence (AI) tools. You are responsible for making sure your use of that artwork is allowed under the terms of the tool you used and does not infringe anyone else’s copyright, trade marks or other rights.

1.3 You agree to cover any loss, cost or claim we face because artwork you supplied infringed someone else’s rights.

2.1 Every file is checked by a person for print issues, including resolution, colour mode, bleed, safe area and obvious spelling mistakes.

2.2 Our checks are not a legal review. We do not confirm who owns artwork, whether it is original, or whether it can be trade marked.

2.3 We may refuse to print artwork that appears to copy an existing logo, brand, character or real person, or that we consider offensive or unlawful. If we refuse, we will refund any payment for the affected items.

3.1 Where you order an AI artwork fix, we will correct technical print issues and reset text so it reads correctly, while keeping your design as close to the original as we reasonably can.

3.2 Clean-up and upscaling can change small details. Some files cannot be fully fixed, and we will tell you if a redesign is needed. Redesign work is quoted separately before we start.

3.3 The AI artwork fix fee covers one round of fixes and one revised proof. Further changes are charged at our hourly design rate.

4.1 We will send you a digital proof before printing. Please check it carefully, including all names, numbers, prices and contact details.

4.2 Once you approve a proof, we print exactly what is on it. We are not responsible for mistakes on an approved proof.

4.3 Digital proofs show layout and content. Printed colours can vary slightly from what you see on screen, and between print runs.

5.1 We keep fixed files on record so you can reorder easily. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

5.2 Fixed or redrawn files remain for use with your orders through our studio. If you want the editable files to use elsewhere, ask us and we’ll quote.
