Domain name management for UK businesses, kept simple

Your domain name holds your website and email together. We register it, renew it, set up the records properly and help you get it back if it has gone astray.

WHY IT MATTERS

The small thing that can stop everything

Your domain name is probably the most important thing your business owns online, and the one most people know least about. It is the address of your website and the reason your email arrives. Let it expire, or lose access to the account it sits in, and both can stop working overnight.

Good domain name management in the UK is not complicated, but it does need someone to keep an eye on it. That means knowing who controls the domain, making sure renewals are paid, keeping the DNS records tidy and documenting what each one does.

We look after domains for the businesses we work with as standard. If yours is scattered across old accounts, set up by someone who has since moved on, or simply a mystery, we can sort it out.

WHAT WE DO

Domains and DNS setup, handled properly

DELIVERABILITY, EXPLAINED

SPF, DKIM and DMARC in plain English

If your invoices and quotes keep ending up in customers’ spam folders, the cause is often three missing or broken records. They sound technical, but the idea behind each one is simple.

SPF is a list of who is allowed to send email for your domain, such as Microsoft 365 or your website. DKIM adds a digital signature to each email, proving it really came from you and was not changed on the way. DMARC tells other mail servers what to do if an email fails those checks, and sends you reports about it.

Together they help stop criminals sending fake emails in your name, and they give your genuine emails the best chance of being delivered. Major email providers increasingly expect them to be in place.

  • SPF: who is allowed to send as you
  • DKIM: proof the email is genuine
  • DMARC: what to do with fakes
  • Checked and tested after every change

QUESTIONS

Domain and DNS questions

Your website and email can stop working. There is usually a short grace period to renew, but after that the domain can be lost or bought by someone else. That is why renewals need watching.
Your business. It should be registered in your company’s name, with access you can always get to, not held personally by a former web designer or member of staff.
Often it is missing or incorrect SPF, DKIM or DMARC records. We can check your domain and fix them so your emails are properly trusted.
In many cases, yes. We help gather the right details, work with the registrar and guide you through the process. Results depend on the situation, so we will be honest about what is possible.
Think of it as the internet’s address book. DNS records tell the world where your website lives, where to deliver your email and which services are allowed to act on your behalf.
Yes. We can transfer your domain so it sits alongside your website and email, with renewals and records looked after in one place.
